I had mentioned that in June I went to a conference on bringing your Signature Strengths into your work and personal life.  The conference leaders were Amanda Levy and Jocelyn Davis of the Positive Workplace Alliance.  They base their work on the new field of Positive Psychology so I want to credit them for the material I am sharing with you.

As you begin looking at living out of your Signature Strengths.  I highly recommend that you take the time(25 minutes) to visit www.authentichappiness.org. and take the VIA Signature Strengths test and print out all 24 strengths.

Authentic Happiness is also a book by Chris Peterson and Martin Seligman who developed and studied these strengths scientifically.

Together they studied people’s strengths around the world.

What are your top five strengths?( And no I wouldn’t rush to look at what your bottom strengths areJ which is the tendency of many of us to do) 

Think about whether they fit for you.  If one of them doesn’t seem like it fits try looking at #6 or 7 and see if one of those is a better fit.
