Today we will focus on Gratitude.  Gratitude is one of the 24 Signature Strengths that we can all develop if it is not in our top five.  Gratitude is significant to increasing your happiness.  So I am encouraging you to focus on the blessings in your life.  Hmmm… Where have you heard that before?

Well guess what?!  Now it has been scientifically studied and proven as a key to life satisfaction.

 

So if you haven’t done it yet find a notebook, a journal anything you can write in. 

KEEP A GRATITUDE JOURNAL.

1)      Write 6 things you are thankful for in your everyday life no matter how small they might be (and if you are going through an adversity they may be very small but that is OK!)

2)      Do this for three months and see if you notice yourself developing a habit of living with more thankfulness in your life.

3)      Notice if you feel more satisfied and fulfilled with your life when you are living with more gratitude.

 

So yes, Count Your Blessings every day and often through the day and see what happens!
